New Navistools IFC Exporter release candidate is available to download.
We have redesigned the core of the Navistools IFC Exporter, especially the way it collects Navisworks fragments, and as a result achieved a significant performance improvement.
You can download new release candidate from our download page. It can be installed side by side with the latest stable version and is using same license with the installed one.
Besides improved fragments gathering functions we have also removed background worker and replaced it with Navisworks progress bar that is executed only in main thread. This also makes the export process much faster.
As a result, exporting process is in most cases up to 10 times faster and size of the IFC files are up to 5 times smaller, especially when using IFC4 schema.
